The Catholic News Weekly The Tablet relays findings from a new report on international religious persecution.

Three quarters of the world’s population live in countries in which the free practice of religion is endangered, with the greatest restrictions being in the Middle East and North Africa, according to the first ecumenical report on religious freedom worldwide.

The report was issued in Berlin by the German bishops conference and the Council of Protestant Churches. Reports are one thing, but experiencing that persecution first hand is another.
