If school voucher systems are implemented, the religious schools that benefit from tax dollars won't juts be the ones run by religious groups with which you are familiar and comfortable. Indiana State Senator Brent Steele (R) is warning about just that in the voucher debate ongoing in that state:
Senator Brent Steele of Bedford says the bill could potentially allow state money to go to a hypothetical private religious school run by the Westboro Baptist Church, which protest at the funerals of soldiers.
"Once you start letting tax dollars go out to religious schools, you can't make a determination of which is the best religion or what is a proper religion," said Steele.
