Baptist Freedom Fighters
As Baptists, we claim a long legacy of women and men who have risked their lives to advocate bravely for the right to follow one’s faith freely. BJC continues the Baptist legacy of defending the right of everyone to choose a faith journey free from government coercion or penalty, while leading honest and open conversations.
Working together for religious liberty
From our beginning in 1936, BJC has continued to build unity among a wide diversity of groups, both religious and secular, to advocate for freedom of religion for all.
Working in the Courts
BJC often works in coalition with other religious and secular groups as we file friend-of-the-court briefs at the U.S. Supreme Court and in other venues to defend religious liberty for all.
Working with Congress
BJC often joins forces with other religious and secular organizations as we work with Congress, meeting directly with lawmakers and their staffs, analyzing legislation and building broad advocacy coalitions as we defend religious liberty for all.
