Israel Igualate is BJC’s communications director, working with the BJC team to tell stories, shape messages, and make religious liberty matter to more people.

Before coming to BJC, Israel worked as a speechwriter in the Biden Administration, serving as Deputy Director of Speechwriting at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and later as Chief  Speechwriter at the U.S. Department of Labor. Previously, he worked as a journalist for NHK, writing and producing stories from across North America.

When Israel is not in Washington, D.C. working, you can find him in California walking his dogs, Jack Jack, Tomas, Snoopy, and Lolita.
