By a 3-0 vote, a panel of the 7th Circuit has ruled that plaintiffs do not have standing to challenge the law establishing the National Day of Prayer. The decision overturns a trial court's declaration that the yearly event is an unconstitutional violation of the separation of church and state.

Plaintiffs Freedom From Religion Foundation has announced they will ask the entire 7th Circuit to rehear the case. You can read the opinion here (pdf).
